rasp-pi
The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It’s a capable little PC which can be used for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. We want to see it being used by kids all over the world to learn programming.

Hello,
This is my first blog.A new generation of Embedded Systems is introduced as "Raspberry pi". & I am going to post updates on raspberry pi related my projects. The raspberry pi is having a lot of features. But i am more over interested for GPIO based stuff.
I have ordered Raspberry-pi (B model) from Element14 @ Rs.3000(including shipping & other charges) on 23rd May 2012 , but due to huge waiting list , I have to wait till month of Aug 2012.
Its very convenient in terms of cost as compared to Beagle Board/Panda Board , but you need to purchase seperate accessories such as USB Mouse & Keyboard,HDMI cable,SD Card, etc.
As its size is like credit card, integrated features,it works on Linux & the most important thing is that "the best support documentation from Raspberry pi Team", I want use it for my M.Tech Project.
I want to implement OpenCV into ArchLinux/Debian6 & use it along with external Android based ADK devices such as IOIO/Arduino.
So, its time to learn new things like Python,OpenCV using python, porting Linux on Raspberry-pi..!!
